A summary of our achievements from October 2015 thru September 2016:

  • 7 Community Engagement and Risk Communication (CERC) Resiliency Workshops hosted in 6 counties over a period of 7 months.
  • 189 registered CERC Resiliency Workshop attendees, dozens of unregistered attendees
  • Workshop satisfaction rating among attendees at 95%
  • 16 Community Health and Resources Management (CHARM) models developed for 16 communities using the latest RiskMAP data and showcasing new Depth Grid products
  • 11 Demonstrations hosted at: 4 conferences, 2 council of governments, 4 civic associations, 2 municipalities, and 1 Cooperating Technical Partner (CTP)
  • Over 60 orientation meetings held reaching out to 400 individual contacts
  • 9 Evaluative Frameworks developed  to provide an in-depth assessment of local policies and plans
  • 9 follow up inquiries from communities seeking support for updating local hazard mitigation activities and plans
  • 1 Floodplain Management Plan supported with CHARM
