The Texas A&M CERC program targets the following communities in San Patricio County:

- Ingleside
- Ingleside on the Bay
- Mathis
- Portland
- Sinton
The CERC program works with these communities to advance long term resiliency planning efforts through:
- delivering education about planning policy and practices
- aligning state, regional, federal, private, educational, and non-profit resources
- providing tools to understand local risks and mitigation choices, and
- facilitating the integration of risk mitigation concepts into local planning polices and practices
In cooperation with these communities, the CERC program hosted a county wide one-day Resiliency Workshop on March 24, 2015 in Portland, TX. For more information about this workshop, please contact Program Coordinator Walter M. Peacock at wmpeacock@tamu.edu.
